Basically Bows & Bowties FAQs

1. RETURNS/EXCHANGES: Our online return/exchange policy is valid for 20 days from the date of your original purchase.
    • If 25 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.
    • All refunds will accrue a 15% restocking fee and the return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer, not Basically Bows & Bowties.
    • Items not returned within the specified timeline or not in the condition outlined in the Return Policy, will be denied a refund or store credit.
    • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Items must be in the original packaging, with any applicable tags attached. If the item was shipped in a box (ie shoes), the box must be in tact and may NOT be used to ship the item back to Basically Bows & Bowties (it must be in another package).
    • Original packaging (boxes for shoes) and any applicable tags must be attached for consideration of refund.
    • Exchanges are only offered for items that arrive damaged or are defective from the manufacturer.
    • If you are unhappy with an item you have purchased, purchased an incorrect size or color and want to return it for another item or color, we are happy to assist, but it will be treated as a return and applicable shipping charges and restocking fees will apply.
    • Several types of goods are NOT returnable/NOT exchangeable: Seasonal items, hair bows, underwear, sale items, gift cards, special/custom orders, preorder items and presale items.

2. Shipping

    • In-stock orders placed by Noon Pacific time typically ship same day.
    • Please note that shipping times are ESTIMATED by Shopify. The only shipping service with a guaranteed delivery date is UPS Next Day or UPS 2 Day. All other shipping services shown at checkout have "expected" delivery dates and are NOT guaranteed.
    • Expected delivery times (pending no weather or delivery issues) are estimated and not guaranteed:
      • USPS Express: 1-3 business days (excludes holidays and weekends)
      • USPS Priority: 3-5 business days (excludes holidays and weekends)
      • USPS Ground Advantage: 7-10 business days (excludes holidays and weekends)
    • Basically Bows & Bowties is not held liable if an item takes longer to delivered once in the possession of the carrier.
    • If your package goes missing during transit, and all search efforts have been exhausted by USPS, UPS, FedEx or DHL, please email info@BasicallyBows.com. 
    • Unfortunately, once a package is shown as delivered Basically Bows & Bowties is no longer responsible and can not help replace or refund lost packages however we do offer Guide Protection prior to checkout. 
    • We highly recommend adding Guide Package Protection to your order at checkout. Once an order has been placed, this service is not able to be added to an order (this is a Guide rule/guideline, not Basically Bows & Bowties).

 3. Can I cancel or change an order after it has been placed?

  • Once an order has been placed via the website, it can be challenging to fix an address, so please make sure the address is correct
  • Canceling an order prior to shipping will result in a 15% restocking fee.
