The story behind
Maltese
The Maltese Series has its origins in the order of knighthood that was entrusted with Malta in 1530. Their duty was clear: they had to protect European landowners against sea-robber states. Throughout the centuries the order of knighthood protected Malta and preserved its sovereignty. Today, the knights are simply called Maltese Knights and the story of their heroic deeds and ideas lives on today.
